Hoddy Inc. Community Guidelines

Welcome to Hoddy! Our goal is to provide a safe, inclusive, and fun platform for everyone. Here are our community guidelines to ensure that Hoddy remains a positive space for all users:
1. Be Respectful
  • Respect Others: Treat all users with kindness and respect. Harassment, bullying, or any form of discrimination based on race, gender, religion, sexual orientation, or any other personal characteristics will not be tolerated.
  • No Hate Speech: We do not allow content that promotes hate, violence, or discrimination against any individual or group.
2. Keep It Real
  • Authenticity: Be yourself. Don’t pretend to be someone you’re not. Impersonation or misleading others is against our rules.
  • Honesty: Don’t mislead or deceive others. This includes not sharing false information or engaging in scams.
3. Privacy Matters
  • Respect Privacy: Don’t share personal information without consent. This includes details about yourself or others that could lead to privacy breaches.
  • Confidentiality: Keep confidential what others share privately with you. Do not share or screenshot private conversations without permission.
4. Safety First
  • Safety: Do not engage in or promote dangerous or illegal activities. This includes threats, self-harm encouragement, or the sale of illegal substances.
  • Child Protection: We have zero tolerance for content that exploits or endangers minors. Report any suspicious behavior immediately.
5. Content Standards
  • Modesty: Avoid posting content that is overly sexualized or explicit. Nudity and pornography are strictly prohibited.
  • Intellectual Property: Respect copyrights. Do not share or post copyrighted material without permission from the rights holder.
6. Positive Interactions
  • Encourage Positivity: Use Hoddy to spread joy, share good moments, and uplift each other. Negative, harmful, or disruptive behavior is not welcome.
  • No Spam: Do not spam or engage in any behavior aimed at manipulating interactions or content visibility.
7. Report and Respond
  • Reporting: If you see content or behavior that violates these guidelines, please use our reporting tools. We rely on our community to help keep Hoddy safe.
  • Our Response: We investigate all reports and take action where necessary, which might include content removal, account suspension, or permanent bans.
8. Age Restrictions
  • Age Requirement: Hoddy is designed for users aged 13 and above. If you’re under 13, please don’t use our service. If we learn of a user under 13, we will take appropriate action, which may include account termination.
9. Changes to Guidelines
  • Updates: We may update these guidelines from time to time. We’ll notify you of significant changes through the app or our official channels.
10. Support Each Other
  • Community: We’re all in this together! Support each other, share positivity, and help make Hoddy a place where everyone feels welcome.
